Health and Physical Education Mr. Vincent Fadale ([email protected]) Physical Education What we’ve been doing? K-5 students will play a throwing game called “Pirates of the Caribbean.” 6-8th grade students will continue their volleyball unit and be assessed on serving and the forearm pass. This is part of the IB assessment for Criterion C. What we are going to do? K-2 students will play a throwing game called “Popcorn Basketball.” 3-8th grade students will start a unit on basketball. Health (Middle School) What we’ve been doing? 6th grade students will finish their organ system poster with their partner. 7-8th grade students will finish their nutritionist project. What we are going to do? 6th grade students will present their organ system poster with their partner. 7-8th grade students turn in their nutritionist projects and begin working on a New Year’s Resolution Project. Students will look into their own lives and create a plan for how they can improve their own physical, mental, and social health. This will be an IB assessment for Criterion B.

Health and Physical Education Mr. Vincent Fadale ([email protected]) Physical Education What we’ve been doing? Hello, I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break! I’m very excited to get back to teaching in the New Year! K-2 students will be playing a game called "Mario Kart." This is a scooter activity which emphasizes improvement in leg strength. 3-5 students will finish their volleyball unit this week. 6-8th grade students will continued gameplay this week and will be assessed on IB Criterion C for performance on the overhead set pass. What we are going to do?
